I love kids and teaching! School is my happy place. After earning my bachelor of Fine Arts degree at APSU in 1997, I began teaching art as an expert in my field in January of 1998. Three years later, I earned my Master of Arts in Education at APSU. I have taught art, was a Librarian for seven years and a math teacher for grades 6-12 for two years. I began teaching in Public school, then ten years in Catholic school and two years in Behavioral Institutions. Currently, I am the art teacher at Burt as well as a reading specialist, I have taught RTI, HDT and ILPD, with a great success rate.
